The Chamber of Manitowoc County in partnership with University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus,  Lakeshore College are pleased to offer ADVANCED LEADERSHIP: Educate. Empower. Elevate.

This deeply-developed program is designed for mid to senior level managers, non-profit administrators and entrepreneurs seeking advanced leadership and communications skills to move their careers and organizations forward.  Each session will be taught by instructors from the partnering colleges.  This collaborative, comprehensive leadership training will be a great engagement tool for all enrolled in the program and a solid investment for local companies that want to invest in training and education for their employees.

CELEBRATING YOUR STRENGTHS

Presented by:  Kristin Odell, PHR, University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Join us for an engaging workshop built to help leaders understand and accept their natural strengths. Using “CliftonStrengths”, individuals will be able to use a new awareness to drive progress and develop strategies to meet and exceed the demands of their personal and professional lives. As a leader, you will discover your strengths and maximize your potential for consistent success. Participants will receive a code to complete the CliftonStrengths assessment prior to the session and will need to bring a copy of their results with them.

This course will provide you with a clearer understanding of what happens to people when an organizational change initiative occurs.

COMMUNICATION & NEGOTIATION

Presented by:  Sheri Treu, University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Anyone in a leadership position need solid negotiation skills. Whether it’s negotiating an employee’s or your own salary or the terms of a partnership, you must be confident in your negotiation strategies as a leader. Learn the difference between negotiation and compromise. Deliver a solution that everyone can agree on and maintain relationships. In today’s changing world, there is a need for leaders to have the acumen to mediate conversations in order to ensure win-win solutions.

 


 

Cost

Cost for the full program is $1000 for Chamber Members or $2000 for non-members. Cost includes 4 sessions and course materials. The program runs from January to April and participants should commit to monthly sessions. Cost for individual sessions are $250 for Members or $500 for Non-Members.  Click on the individual sessions below to register for an individual session.
