Chamber Awards Nomination Period is CLOSED for 2024
The Chamber’s Awards of Distinction program is an excellent way to recognize and honor those businesses, organization, and individuals who work to enhance the quality of life in Manitowoc County.
All it takes to nominate a business, organization, project or individual, is for you to complete this nomination form by Friday, November 15, 2024.
We are now accepting nominations in the following award categories:
- Athena
- Collaboration
- Education Impact
- Joseph P. Schmitt Speak Up Award
- Non-Profit Organization of the Year
- Small Business of the Year (0-25 Employees)
- Large Business/Industry of the Year (26+employees)
- Healthy Workplace

After we receive your nomination(s), we will contact the nominee for further information and application materials. Judging will then occur and the winners will be announced at the Awards of Distinction on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Capitol Civic Centre, Manitowoc. Please mark your calendars now!

The Service Excellence Award
The objective of this award is to recognize the local employees and acts of service that have a significant and positive impact on customer experiences, exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression on customers – showing everyone why Manitowoc County is a great place to do business.
- Nominators will share a narrative about the outstanding service experience that they received/witnessed, and nominate the individual that provided the exceptional service.
- Nominations can be submitted by customers, peers, or supervisors via the nominating link below.

- The following criteria will be evaluated in the judging process:
- Positive Impact: The service had a significant, positive impact on the customer’s experience, exceeding expectations and leaving a lasting impression.
- Problem-Solving Ability: The nominee demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness in resolving the customer’s issue or fulfilling a request.
- Empathy and Understanding: The nominee showed genuine care and concern for the customer’s needs, demonstrating a commitment to resolving their issues with compassion.
- Professionalism and Courtesy: The service was delivered with the highest level of professionalism, politeness, and respect.
