Chamber Notebook Article: 38th Annual Roncalli Pierside Auction

Join Roncalli Catholic Schools for the 38th Annual Roncalli Pierside Auction. The event will be twice the fun this year as it will be held both in person and online! 
 
The in-person event will take place Saturday, April 30 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Roncalli High School, 2000 Mirro Drive in Manitowoc. Admission to the event is free. Parking will be available in the Fine Arts Center lot with overflow parking in the Skana Aluminum Company lot. Shuttle service will be provided from the Skana lot courtesy of Brandt Buses, Inc. from 5:30-11:30 p.m. Attendees should enter through the Fine Arts Center as well. Food, desserts, water, soda, hard seltzer, beer, wine and Jet Fuel, a specialty drink, will be available for purchase in addition to the items up for bid in both the silent auction areas and oral auction. The Miss Harbor Cities Scholarship Organization was formed in 2014 as a local preliminary scholarship competition to Miss Wisconsin and Miss America. The Miss America Organization is the largest provider of scholarship assistance to young women in the United States, awarding millions of dollars annually in cash awards and in-kind scholarships.

Each year, young women ages 13-26 from across the state of Wisconsin come to Manitowoc to compete in this competition for the titles of Miss Harbor Cities and Miss Harbor Cities’ Outstanding Teen. All Together Now!, a musical revue created by Music Theatre International, is going to take the stage at the Capitol Civic Centre this weekend. The Masquers, in collaboration with Treehouse Theater, will be joining with over 2,500 other theater groups worldwide to celebrate the return of local theater following nearly two years of little or no live performances.
